Saving Lives In Action

When it comes to saving an animal's life, action and timing is everything. Everything we do is about being ready to help when the need arises. We were contacted by the Becerra family to help with their puppy "Rolex", who was diagnosed with Parvo. We stepped into action and thankfully, Rolex is alive and doing well. Here is the email we received from Maribel Bacerra.

"Thank you for saving Rolex’s life. I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for your generosity and quick response to your dog’s illness. The day our puppy was diagnosed with Parvo, I contacted seven different pet organizations/foundations and you were the only one who responded to Rolex’s medical emergency in less than 24 hours. I have yet to hear from the other six pet organizations/foundations contacted. Your quick response to our dog’s illness saved his life. Operation Empty Cages donors, your funds are being used for its intended purpose, to prevent unnecessary euthanasia and keep pets with their families. Not only did you respond in less than 24 hours, but you also checked on our puppy’s treatment progress daily. To all pet lovers, when considering donating to an organization, I encourage you to look into how the funds are allocated and the response to pets’ needs."

With Sincere Gratitude and Appreciation,

Maribel

At OEC, we love hearing back from those families that we have helped. It truly makes what we do worth it. We can't do what we do without the support of our community members. If you are able to contribute financially to OEC, we promise you that 100% of what you give goes directly to helping save lives!
